What is Google Summer of Code?
Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a program run by Google that gives college students the opportunity to spend an summer learning new technologies and working on open source projects. Students in the program have their code reviewed, mentored, and are paid for their time. Students work on Open Source Software projects as well as Participate in a Google-sponsored tech conference (Google Summit).
